Her stunning new release for 1631 Recordings ‘The Eleventh Hour’ reveals a new sonic world, interweaving subtle electronics with layered melodic piano. The album is a departure from her previous virtuosic classical solo piano album ‘Beyond (and below)’, which when released in 2012 received critical acclaim from Gramophone Magazine. ‘The Eleventh Hour’ features the London Contemporary Orchestra, one of the UK’s most innovative and respected ensembles routinely heard alongside such luminaries as Radiohead, Jonny Greenwood or Mica Levi, and later phenomenal cellist and composer Oliver Coates.
