Phoria Announce New Album ‘River Oblivion’ and Release Its First Single: ‘New Beginning’

Phoria are back with a brand new single ‘New Beginning’.
This captivating track is a supersonic journey through the brilliant mind of writer Trewin Howard’s highs and lows during lockdown. With an all-encompassing sense of universality, 'New Beginning' is at once a recognition, an acceptance, a surrender, and a call to action.

On the new album, Trewin says,

“New Beginning is an instrumental introduction to a new phase. Laying a fresh foundation before the new songs follow, it's an expression of total freedom and rising to limitless heights. Phoria feels like a free entity now, unbound by genre or perceived expectations. I hope people are ready for the sounds we're about to make. We are certainly very excited to make them.”

April 2023 will see the release of Phoria’s next album River Oblivion, which perfectly encapsulates Phoria’s expansive landscape, musically and thematically. It is a pure, raw and beautifully heart-wrenching collection. In line with Phoria’s universal, transcendental approach to creativity, River Oblivion goes beyond themes of life and death, into an existential reflection of all human history in one stunning sonic microcosm.

Mixing all the electronic intricacies of their debut album, with the orchestral elements of their second, Phoria build towards their third album and a statement headline show at Union Chapel in April 2023.
